The 10th Annual African Diaspora International Film Festival – Paris (FIFDA) will take place virtually from September 4 to 6, 2020.
FIFDA 2020 presents 19 films – including eight Europe premieres – from Uganda, Rwanda, United Kingdom, Morocco, Nigeria, Haiti, Cuba, Canada, Cameroon, Belgium, United States, France, Brazil, Congo, French Guiana, Hungary, Germany, Suriname, and Burkina Faso.
This year, the festival is taking advantage of its virtual edition to expose France and Europe to a rich and unique selection of international films, representative of an editorial line that highlights the human experience of people from Africa and its diaspora everywhere in the world.
Fifty percent of the films in the FIFDA 2020 selection are directed by women.
