I want to commend Waris Dirie for her courage in pursuing the unfashionable agenda to end the brutal practice of female genital mutilation. It is ironic that the African political leaders(they should know better, they should at least have taken courses Anatomy) all educated, and even Western schooled,are not able to bring this practice to a complete halt with legislations.But it seems that they dont’ have the “cojones” to end this uncivilized tradition.
