Labour MP Dawn Butler has been ordered to leave the Commons chamber after she refused to withdraw accusations that Boris Johnson is a liar.
Ms. Butler said the prime minister had “lied to the House and the country over and over again”.
Under parliamentary rules, MPs are not allowed to accuse each other of lying in the House of Commons.

I have been fighting for the people of Brent Central as your MP since being elected in 2015. My office has dealt with over 25,000 constituents’ queries and problems, and I’ve taken issues important to the people of this area right to the top – as with the Pre-Pay Rip-off campaign that has helped save money every day for families using pre-pay meters. Last month, Butler was warmly honored in the borough of Waltham Forest, where she was born and raised, with a blue plaque to celebrate her as a local hero and in recognition of her contributions to politics and community activism.
