The annual Black Weblog Awards voting has opened. We were honored in 2007 during our very first blogging year to win both the judges and popular vote in the International category.
Six years later and we’re still here and a lot has happened. We launched a social network, two Facebook groups and a professional women’s group on LinkedIn.
We have compiled three Power Lists and spoken at BlogHer in San Francisco and at a black culture festival in Amsterdam.
But best of all? We have continued to shine the spotlight on ordinary and extraordinary black women in Europe. Yay!
Is there any reason why you won’t vote for us in the International category of the 2013 Black Weblog Awards? I hope not. Vote here today and spread the word to do the same. Thank you!
