Four of us from the Black Americas group met in Washington, DC for the first time since joining the Black Women in Europe social network. I didn’t want to return to Sweden after visitng family and friends without meeting my sisters.
It was great to get together and talk and laugh. We listened to each other’s fascinating stores, discussed politics, careers and more. We hugged each other goodbye. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of each other in the future.
Ha! I wish I’d known about this meeting 🙁
Sorry you didn’t know Lola 🙁
If you’re in the Black Women in Europe social network you should have received an email.
Your presence in Europe puts you all in a powerful position and a unique vantage point. The half has not been told of your potential.
Thanks Eddie. One of the sisters I met with is from South Africa and is moving to Brussels; another lived and worked in Paris. I hope to meet with some of the sister in the network that live in Brussels when I am there for the Democrats Abroad regional meeting.
