What does Black Pride look like nowadays? Who are our heroes or do they even exist in this day and age? Do people of color have a messiah complex? One might think it a difficult supposition that Black conservatives often look to El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz as a template for self-reliance-just ask Clarence Thomas. Some may interpret our last show on Black English as being antithetical to Black pride but I respectfully disagree. Malcolm X’s erudite and alliterative oratorical prowess proves my point.
