Please give me your feedback on the new look.?? Andy at design-68 offered me this logo.?? He’s working on a great project here in Sweden called urbanlife.se.?? His site lunaches next month and he still found the time to help me out.
I have to give Kudos to WordPress for making it so easy to migrate from Blogger.?? However blogrolls don’t migrate (unless I missed something, and if that case let me know) so it will take me several days to add links to my blogroll here.
In addition to the new blog I am building the Black Women in Europe website and I am working on??the paperwork??to form a non-profit organization.?? I’ve already put together an outstanding advisory board comprised of sisters in France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden.
I like the new design a lot. It’s very spacious!
My only suggestion would be to go with the B.W.I.E./ Black Women In Europe logo at the left top of the home page and take out the one on the right-top of the home page, which is redundant, has cramped lines of text, and isn’t as pretty.
I’d like to see a little more white space over the B.W.I.E., at least as much as there is below the initials.
These are minor observations. Congratulations on the major moves you’ve made. Someday, I’ll give up my horse and buggy and buy a Model T on the way to the modernity you have accomplished.
Thanks for posting the 1st comment on my new site Francis. And I totally agree with your suggestions. I’ll see what I can do. It was a minor miracle that I was able to do what I’ve done. I have a very high learning curve!
The new design for the BWIE blog looks great Adrianne. Like Francis I really like the use of whitespace as a background. Try to keep the new site clean and sharp by not overdoing it with lots of clutter (applets, ads, widgets). It’s your content that counts in the long run.
I’ll change my blogroll link to the new URL ASAP. Congratulations to you and to Andy at design-68 for doing a nice job on the re-design.
Thanks Black River Eagle. I will do my best to follow your advice. And I will have your URL on my blogroll ASAP.
This is my first visit to the blog – congratulations on the new look.
Best, Kyra

Thanks Kyra, I hope it won’t be your last visit. Can we exchange links? I love the quilting tradition.
I love your new design. You rocked it!
Thanks AAPP! I’m just trying to keep up with you. And since I will be part of your Democratic Convention Credentialed Blog Team, I had to step it up.
