A CHARITABLE family fun day that will attempt to raise funds to help improve the conditions of a Jamaican hospital will take place in east London on July 6.

All proceeds raised at the event in Clapton will go towards the accident and emergency care at the St Ann’s Bay Hospital.

The day is organised by Angelia Christian from the Angel Foundation, which last year successfully donated two ambulances to the same hospital on Jamaica’s north coast after she saw the bad conditions in the accident and emergency and started fundraising back in the UK.

Entertainment on the day will include cake decorating, jewellery making, t-shirt designing, kiddies corner, bouncy castle, art and craft, cultural show, zumba dance classes and an all-day barbeque.

In the evening there will be a special stage show featuring Momo-Watt, Winston Reedy and Yvonne Curtis.

The family fun day will take place at The Round Chapel, Powerscroft Road, Lower Clapton Road, London, E5 OLY, starting from 12.00pm until 10.30 pm.
