Safia Otokoré – France – Politics – Vice-President of the Regional Council of Burgundy
Safia Otokoré was born in Djibouti and is a French politician, member of the Socialist Party, educator and an athlete. In 2001 she was elected Deputy Mayor of the town of Auxerre. In 2004 she was elected Regional Councilor of Burgundy Region 1 . She became vice president in charge of the region with the responsibility for International Affairs and Sports.
