I had the time of my beauty life at Stockholm Beauty Week 2019. I wasn’t able to attend last year, but I’ll be covering Stockholm Beauty Week 2021 from Washington, DC.!
Stockholm Beauty Week is unique in that it targets consumers and professionals alike. This year’s lineup for consumers promises not to disappoint. There is Sweden’s heavyweight of clean beauty, Maria Akeberg. One of my favorite products is her exfoliator. The entire skincare line for women, men, and children (meaning every human from cradle to grave) is made from organic products of the highest quality. The products are used in salons and last a long time. Only a little is needed.
I am excited to learn about Nailberry. DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a beauty expert but rather, I am the ULTIMATE beauty consumer! I enjoy discovering and trying new brands and have more products than I can use at one time. It gives me joy to use them and share them and gift them and congratulate the wonderful product creators. I was so impressed by the students at Gilda that I met at SBW who tinted my brows and lashes, that I booked into the school’s salon for several services. I went with a girlfriend and we made a day of it. I’m itching to get back to their location in Gothenburg or Malmo. So now that they have their own skincare line, I find that very exciting. It’s called Gilda Liljebad.
A fragrance collection that will be introduced at Stockholm Beauty Week is Jimmy Boyd from Spain. Be prepared to try their Orange Blossom – Feeling Good, Lavender – Love Provence, Lemon and Rose – Smart Energy, Verbena – Good Vibrations, Spring Rain Water – Sparkling Rain, Wild Roses – Living Love, and Forest – Mother Earth.
