Andrea is a multilingual global traveler, international entrepreneur, executive producer and style aficionado. Beginning her career as a Global Marketing and Sales Executive for Fortune 500 companies, Andrea’s work and travel assignments have taken her to more than 40 countries around the world. She has lived in Italy, Spain, France, Los Angeles, and New York, and her fascination for global art, style, and culture comes through whether she is cooking with chefs, dancing tango, or celebrating the running of the bulls festival in Pamplona.
As the Cultural Enthusiast and co-founder of Travelista TV, an online travel channel, Andrea enjoys interviewing cultural tastemakers, chefs, artists, and designers. With her travel partner, she executive produces travel segments in exotic locales and hosts entertainment/red carpet interviews for AOL, BET.com and TVOne online. She was featured on The Mo’Nique Show on BET discussing her favorite global destinations.
Andrea is also the creator of The Velvet Circle, a lifestyle media and event company focused on art, style, and hotspots in Italy. Her current projects include the Fashion Lounge, a platform for emerging designers; Pitti Fashion Week; and Pitti Immagine Taste, the largest food and wine festival in Tuscany, where The Velvet Circle is the official Web TV Media Partner.
Andrea earned a BS and MBA Magna Cum Laude on full scholarship from Florida A & M University, and speaks English, Italian and French. She jet-sets between her homes in Italy and the US.
