The day before my surgery I walked 13k steps (primarily because I forgot my bus pass) and the reward was finally meeting Maria Mckinney in real life.
What a surprise when she walked up to me with a big smile and said I know who you are! Made my day.
Now I am on the road to recovery. My left foot healed beautifully after having that bunion removed last year so I’m going for a matching pair of feet.
