Join Boston University for The Annual Celebration of the Lives and Legacies of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King.

Hosted by the Boston University Dean of Students office, Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground, and the Officer of Senior Diversity Officer. This event is done in partnership with the New England Conservatory and the City of Boston.

This in-person event features remarks from Mayor Michelle Wu and Dr. Andrea Kayln, President of New England Conservatory. There will be a keynote educational conversation with Dr. Derrick L. Williams, Professor of Communication Studies at Cuyahoga Community College – Metropolitan Campus, and musical selections throughout the program arranged by New England Conservatory.

It will take place on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 12 pm EST at Boston University’s George Sherman Union, 775 Commonwealth Ave, Boston MA, 02215. The event will run approx. 90 minutes.
