Hapsatou Sy – France – Business & Entrepreneurship – Award-winning founder of Ethnicia beauty salons
At the age of 24 in July 2005, Sy Hapsatou launched Ethnicia following training in international trade and a trip to New York City. Her salon opened on the Ile Saint-Louis. In 2007 she won the second prize for innovation in business, a competition for young entrepreneurs held by Unibail Rodamco. There are now 14 Ethnicia “spaces” in France with two set to open internationally. Franchise opportunities are available.
