The World Health Organization works to reduce the transmission of, vulnerability to and impact of HIV/AIDS in the European Region. We support the development of capacity in the health care sector to scale up all aspects of prevention, care and treatment to achieve a comprehensive, large-scale, effective and appropriate response to the epidemic.
