George Pau-Langevin – France – Politics – Member of Parliament
George Pau-Langevin was born in Guadeloupe and studied at the Sorbonne and the University of Paris II. She is the former president of the Movement against Racism and for Friendship Among Peoples, and the National Agency for the Integration and Promotion of Workers Overseas. She has held numerous other positions including advisor to the mayor of Paris and was awarded the National Order of the Legion of Honor. She monitors issues of justice in France particularly access to the law, juvenile justice, and citizen participation in the administration of justice. She has written several books including:
