Nehemiah UCHA is a progressive housing association and has a portfolio of nearly 1000 properties serving the multicultural African Caribbean, Asian and European communities within the West Midlands. The Association’s current housing stock is spread geographically across the region in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

We are currently recruiting for new board members and are seeking candidates who are interested in bringing their valued skills and experience to this Regional Housing Association. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our vision of being a force for social and economic improvement, tackling poverty and inequality through our housing activities. All board members are currently paid.

You will:

Be expected to attend bi- monthly board meetings and bi-annual away days.
Demonstrate strategic vision and leadership skills
Ensure governance, internal control and risk management are effective
Have board level and/or director level experience in the not for profit or public sector
We are particularly keen to attract people with Banking, Treasury, Health and Social Care Management
skills.
