Billie Jean was born in April 1968 in Accra (Ghana). On leaving school, she began training as a hairdresser in 1985, Accra. She then worked in two different salons in Ghana. After marrying and moving to Germany in 1996 she learned studied in a well-known Hamburg salon for hair extensions.
In 2003 Billie Jean decided to open her own salon. She attended special seminars in the US, UK and Germany and in 2004 she launched Hair Police.
