AkiDwa – The African and Migrant Women’s Network in Ireland is organising a series of events such as workshops, concerts and seminars to commemorate 2010 – the European year of combating poverty and social exclusion. At the end of September AkiDwA is organising a celebration of diversity and social gathering where people from the Connemara area will join with their new neighbours who have come to live in Connemara and County Galway from around the world.
